When first starting out, I conducted an annonymous survey to get a feel for what Topics would be of interest, and got a great number of responses in addition to requests via the Online Form! A range from books to photography, financial info to women's health, to sports and entertaintment. Including interest in having Social Events.
In addition to the above, there will be a MEMBER EXCHANGE where you can Barter or Trade, have access to places to see and go that are Lesbian owned and/or Lesbian Friendly - whether it's local, or someplace you plan to visit. There's also a Corporate Members area, THE MARKET PLACE (coming soon - until then, Corporate Members are listed below). All Members have access to the EXCLUSIVE OFFERS & DISCOUNTS, and there will be an area for CHARITY & NON-PROFIT MEMBERS where they can post volunteers needed and/or help wanted, fundraising events, and services provided, etc.

HOW IT WORKS: To be a Member (individual), only your name (1st & last), your email, your postal code/zip code (so that resources can be found locally) or city & country if you're outside of Canada and USA. PRIVACY POLICY: Your information will not be shared with anyone, nor sold to anyone, and you will not be spammed - you're opted out of everything - you'll need to sign up for Newsletters/Topics/Forums, etc... that interest you, yourself. That's it, no small print. Just what was stated above in How It Works.
MEMBERS CONDUCT: Be nice, we're here to support and encourage, not tear each other down. Venting about your day is okay, and discussion about anything & everything is great, just not Xrated - that would mean higher costs & having to find another webhost that allows adult content + plus + there may be those youngins who are exploring/questioning their sexuality & wouldn't be able to access the site otherwise. Abuse WILL NOT be tolerated, and you will lose your Membership without refund.
Individual Members can choose their own UserName, but keep it to yourself - not even your partner or bestest friend. It's part of the idea behind this site, it's not about collecting friends or followers, because we're all friends, at least on this site we are - you just don't know who you're talking to, whether it's someone famous, your friend or foe, or partner/wife for that matter. And if attend a Social Event, you're there as yourself, and may run in to people you know, but they don't know who you are here on Lesbian Links, nor you . . .
